DAY 1 | KOCHI MUNNAR

Suggest starting at 9 am for sightseeing
Morning session Eravikulam National park visit followed by Tea Museum.
Post lunch, Mattuppetty dam, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu view point and Botanical Garden.
Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter.
The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of goats.
Tea Museum is closed on Monday.

Suggest to start by 9am as Munnar to Thekkady will take 3-4 hours.
On reaching Thekkady, you may go for Periyar boating to see the Periyar wild life sanctuary
(Tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter).
In the evening, you can go for optional activities
Optional activities are Kathakali, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, Musical fountain, and Ayurveda massages.
All the activities have separate entrance fees.

Suggest to start by 9am as Thekkady to Kumarakom will take 3-4 hours.
Visit Kumarakom bird asylum.
Here you will get the chance to spot different species of birds and enjoy a peaceful time amidst the lush greenery.
Later in the evening, head back to the hotel and take some rest.
And then, when night arrives, you can partake in a cruise along Vembanad Lake and experience the sublime beauty of the backwaters.
